Ireland, the green island, has long held a special fascination for me as a landscape photographer. This is mainly due to the wonderful light and the scenic contrasts between the coast line and the mountains. Each region reveals its own and very special charms; from picturesque harbor towns amidst imposing cliffs against the backdrop of the roaring Atlantic Ocean in the south to imposing coasts and the green ridges of hills in the rough north.
