The Berchtesgadener Land is a region in the far southeast of Bavaria surrounded by an intact and original mountainous landscape whose core area has been protected by the Berchtesgaden National Park since 1978. With its rich flora and fauna and its unique landscape the national park around the Watzmann and Königssee offers a real treasure trove for landscape and nature photographers.
